Gregory Pan

Gregory Pan, a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, is a versatile musician known for his talents as a violinist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator. From a young age, he was immersed into the world of music through the constant influence of his violin teacher mother, and highly-talented violinist sister. Pan's curiosity led him to explore a variety of musical styles, styles that have been implemented in his performances around the United States and around the world. With a strong classical foundation, Pan's musical interests span across several genres, but he primarily focuses on orchestral scoring and pop music production. His compositions, characterized by their melodic focus and motivic structure, have been described by audiences as "catchy" and "memorable". In addition to his musical pursuits, Pan plays a pivotal role in the Violet Violin Summer Academy at Chun University each year, where he shares his expertise in music theory, violin, choir direction, and other fundamental musical skills with young and aspiring musicians.

Pan's dedication to music education extends beyond the summer academy, as he has been a private violin instructor with a dedicated studio for more than four years. He also arranges music for large ensemble performances, including choirs and digital productions. Through his teaching and arrangements, Pan continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians, hoping to leave an enduring legacy in his community and beyond. Pan will be continuing his degree this fall at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
