Private lessons

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

One on one instruction weekly to build the core foundation of string playing, targeting left and right hand technique and incorporating repertoire based on level.

Group Classes

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Groups of 3-10 students of similar level focused on reviewing skills from private lessons. We cover scales, arpeggios, etudes such as Mazas, Kayser, Trott double stops, and also repertoire that will be needed for performances throughout the year. Group class is a great way for students to be motivated and inspired by their peers as an addition to weekly private lessons.

Summer Violin Intensive

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

5 week camp featuring distinguished violin faculty, intensive daily training culminating in a final showcase

  • Foundational String Technique (Right and left hand)
  • Extensive list of classical repertoire but also other styles of music
  • Performance practice with a studio class every week (Students playing for the teachers and their peers)
